The Mainest Cast

Some while ago I've decided that I must somehow pimp my characters and do some proper lineup, after all I must have a start point before I'll redo it, like, two thousand times. And gosh, it took me forever! I was agonizing around it for a good couple of days. Mainly because I strayed from the basic idea of doing simple flats and shading. And then I added a bunch if textures. And then another bunch. And then I regretted it, because there was no chance for a simple pick anymore.

But anyway, here goes the main cast of Whatever. Or else, not minor enough.

In case anybody will ever get interested - from left to right:

Pete Ayrton (19) - your protagonist. Quite nerdy, quite miserable, definitely a coward. But lovely anyway. Lives away from family. Works in a school radio, has quite a talent for it. Peasant voice.

Dominic Stave (19) - Pete's best friend. A scientific mind, cold and sarcastic. Deadly addicted to caffeine. Lives with his doc-parents, little sister. Has a hound. Tired of all of you. Had too much House MD.

Ally Oliver (19) - A nasty girl. There is certainly something wrong with her span of attention. Hangs with Scotty. Some time before they got separated. They standed it for three days. Loves to scare the shit out of her twin brother. Likes cryminal movies. Her hair is like a net for stupid ideas.

Scotty Poster (19) - Makes a good sidekick for Ally. Not so petulant, but equally creative. Can fix shit after he breaks it. His hair is dark ginger. Awfully tall. Had a terrible accident as a kid, which results I wont spoil. The scar on his nose is from glasses he used to wear.

Josh Oliver (19) - Ally's twin brother. Minor art tallent. Badly touched by Ally's endless torments.

Tony Bones (21 when died) - One of those fellas who used to get another girlfriend every two weeks, quite literally. He misses it, but doesn't compain. As he himself says, being dead comes with some perks after all. Minor possesion skills for example, which are quite fun when properly used. A lovely bastard, wery extrovertic, gesticulates alot. Likes to pester Pete. I like to compare his character to Jonsie from 6teen. Only more emotional, if it's even possible.

Vic Foster (20) - Mainly a bully, but he has his reasons. Quite pessimistic and easy to anger. Likes pasta. Kinda based on Bigmac from Pratchett's series about Johnny, only older. Bro's in jail. Bro was a dealer.

All of them them, which are living (sorry Tony) are going to the same school in a city where most of my stories take place in. Quite a peculiar city. I think I'll explain why in another post. The story mainly covers what I made up during last year and is very intentionally loose. First I simply wanted to make it and see what will come out of it before I'll get to something serious, then it evolved quite nicely in my head to turn into some... more tangled loose story.

Anyway, it is made to be fun for me and for everyone who wants it. If I'm lucky, I'll get to post it in about a month, after my birthday which, I hope, will provide me with enough cash to buy a decent scanner. Untill then, I'll continue doing utterly digital stuff (somewhere between my exams and making a collage portfolio xI)

Uh, bugger. End of gibberish. I was supposed to sleep more than fucking 4 hours a day.
